It's Nice

Although I am not able to log in the amount of hands and hours as I would like to, December has been a very very good month. Since most of my friends are back for the break, I have been busy with them so it is hard for me to find hours to play poker. Nevertheless, I have been able to find very bad players at 5/10 and 10/25 level. So far since thanksgiving, I am up over 60,000 in about 25,000 hands. I have been mainly destroying fishes at 5/10 and 10/25 heads up on FTP and UB. I don't know how I compare to regulars there but I can't be much worse. I have seen Gaucho plays most of them and they are nothing spectacular with the exception of samoleus from 2+2. So today, I went to gamestop to pick up fifa for xbox360 since mine broke. I asked the guy when are they going to get the playstation 3. He responded "Do you want one?". I was ecstatic. I bought the system and a couple of games. I got the Madden and Ultimate Alliance. Its pretty sweet. Last 30 days, I have probably spent at least 2000 dollars at that store. They changed the Madden control from the last one so I have to relearn a lot of controls. It is kinda annoying but the graphics are so much sweeter so the controls don't even matter.

Fuck you Marriot

Ok its 8am in the morning. I am writing this incredibly pissed. A bunch of my friends and I decided to throw a sick party last night at the top floor of the presidential suite at the Marriot. Last time, there were people on the floor so we got noise complaint and we got warned 3 times. This time, we made sure all the rooms on the floor are emptied. About an hour in, we get a knock on the floor, saying we aren't allowed to have a party on the presidential suite. WTF is the bar in the room for then? And this totally contradict with what they said last time. They said we are allowed to have up to 25 people in the suite and they don't care if we are having a party. This time they said we are allowed to have 5 people per room. I fucking hate hotel management. I fucking even got Dom for the room. Spent about 1000 for the party. Just unfucking real.

Beats and Tilt

Last 3 days have been fairly rough. I started out Wednesday at 10/25, immediately down 8000. I had some tough hands and some coin flips for big pots. Then because of the horrible plays, I crawled my way back to -3000. Then some douche bag called a big raise pre flop with K3 suited and flopped two pair on my AK and I was back down -5500. Then i somehow managed not to lose more than 1000 dollars on K 8 5 6 4 board with 87 after having him called 200 for inside straight draw with 97. I ended the day - 6000.Then the next day was just bad. I tilted pretty badly at heads up and dropped 4000. But thanks to Luke(Acecr9), I was able to chase a whale fish on bodog for 2000 an hour later. The last 2 days, I haven't really played much poker. A lot of my friends are coming back home for the winter. So i have been doing things with them. I felt that my games has improved dramatically over the last few months. I have been talking to a lot of the higher stakes player. David(Gaucho) has been helping me the most. I also have Cello,Julian, Tyler on Skype helping me out with many things. Cello and Julian has finally come back from the dead zone of 1/2. They keep going back down to 1/2 to regain their confidence. Hopefully, they can stay at higher stakes game. I am also trying to get Tyler up to 2/4 NL. I feel like he is the best 1/2 player I have ever seen and he should easily be able to crush 2/4 with no difficulties but he is never confident so I am trying to rail him more often and let him play 2/4. I also had my first lesson yesterday with a student. The lesson went very well. He plays 5/10 cents so he was a total beginner. He was very passive pre flop and on the flop and has problem with betting sizes. I felt like I fixed up those problems very well. I also want to keep improving my own game so I can start crushing 10/20+. So far I am still freaking out losing 2-3 buy ins. I need to fix that.

Ok, so cardrunners is letting members become instructors to the lower players. I am going to be one. My hourly rate is going to be 50 dollars and it is negotiable. So if you guys want to get better at poker, sign up with me :-). I can def. help your game out plenty and make you a bigger winner. As for poker wise, this month has been going unbelievable. I played in a 5/10 2k min/max buy in game. I did pretty well. Although i was card dead most of the night, I still won 3000. I have also been doing very well online in a limited amount of time. I still wish i can log in more hands than i am logging these days. Since friends are coming back home for winter break, i am probably going to cut down even more for poker. Sigh. I have also been so tired last few days. I am basically staying awake from redbulls. My sleeps are about 3-4 hours average. Its kind annoying.

I can dodge DUIs

Got pulled tonight after some drinking. Thank god i decided to only have 2 beers. I can usually drive fine with 5-6. Only ended up with 90 dollars speeding ticket. SHIP IT!

Bahamas...Pretty Please...

Due to new rule change, you now need a passport to go to the Bahamas. But the rule doesn't apply till January 23rd. Now i need to ask my lawyer if I can go to there because technically if i leave US soil, i cannot get asylum. Please let me go

I have officially become a degenerate

LOL Having money on bodog is probably the worst thing that could happen. I have always been a huge fan of sports. I have always been a statistic freak. Well I just put down my first bets for NFL games this weekend. I got Ravens at +3 away against the Chiefs, Tampa at home +3 against Michael Vick, Seattle away -3.5 against the cards, the Saints away +7 against the cowboys, and of course i have to bet against the redskins at +1.5 against the eagles at home. I fucking better win cuz i will be chasing my losses at monday night! I think making these bets should make me watching the games much more enjoyable

So finally I have been running well at poker. After my tilt session on Thursday, I decided to take a day off. I hung out with some of the people i have known from high school. It was fun but a little awkward at times because I don't know them too well. I really need to fix my sleeping schedule. It has been so off. I am going to sleep at like 8 pm at night and waking up at 3am in the morning and be tired the whole day. O well. The game are at least good in the morning. I am up around 22,000 past 2 weeks which is pretty damn good. I have been following a lot of bad players up to 10/25 and it has been paying off. I am probably up a good 6k+ at 10/25. Now because of this run, the 6 figures by the end of the year is a possibility again. I need to run this way for the next 4 weeks and I should get there with ease. I also realized that i am very hesitant to play against a very good player even though, i am probably the second best at the table. I got to realize second best is not so bad if there are 4 other worse than you. I am trying to log at least 1000 hands per day and play 4 tables a lot of the time before New Year so that I can throw mega balla parties. Hopefully, I can do that. As for school, i fucking suck. I dont think i am failing all my classes but I am not doing better than C average in at least 2 of my classes and need an A on the finals to get an A for one other class. Sigh. I guess its not so bad for a person who does zero work.
