Madi Gras Trip Report

I got to the airport around 11am and met up with zach. We took a bad beat when the cab driver dropped us of at the wrong hotel. We wandered around the city asking people for directions but since there were about 10 different marriot, we were lost in the city for a good 3 hours. We finally met this local we showed us our hotel and a great place to eat. The catfish. Shrimp poboy and the gumbo were all delicious. We wandered around bourbon street and got drinks while we waited for our friends to arrive. Everything is very overpriced because it is madi gras time. We ended up going to a bar and a strip club for the night and it was real fun. Its fun to see friends belligerently drunk. The next day we went to tulane to chill at tims frat block party. We ended up getting stuck in the parade route and ended up having to walk over 10 miles back! My feet were burning in pain. It was so insane how the whole city is packed and everyone is drunk.

It takes 30 minutes to walk down a few blocks on bourbon. Next day I started to get gambling itch and decided to go to harrahs. All day I have been wanting to put 500 on black. As soon as I put 500 on black, some doushebag asian decided to put 600 on red and decided to go against me. He stared at me as I laughed since I know I am going to win. The ball landed on black which is followed by yelling of ship it and leaving the casino and buying nice alcohol. As we were walking back, there were a lot of parade blocking our way. People throw beads from the parade to the crowd with some of them just plane chucking at people so us being junkies, we chucked back. Sadly as we were throwing back beads, some drunk guy on the parade got very mad at us and led to julians arrest. He was arrested for disturbing the peace and apparently going to jail for 3 days. Thankfully, tims dad was able to pull a few plugs and he was out after 4 hours. We got fairly drunk afterwards and went to a high class strip club. Although the girls were much hotter, it was very private and semi expensive. I decided to play some drunk poker the next day at harrah. I was going all in every hand at first but then I played well took a few bad beats and got more drunk. Then this one hand I decided to call a nit raise from early with 63s on the button. Flop came down, 345 and he led out 40. I slowly called. Turn was a 6. Now I have two pair and he bets 500!! I only had around 600 left and I can't put him on set or straight, I deicded to push it in. He called after 10 sec and I rivered a 3 for boat as he mucked. I don't know what he had but I still believed I had the best hand. After that I was only stuck 200 on the day and I decided to put 300 on a hand on bj and was dealt bj first hand and received a nice profit on the session. I probably had about 80 drinks this trip, walked about 50 miles and costed over 2k.

I run so bad!

i stake good players and they always lose whenever I stake them. Then i tilt from that and play super high stakes and lose. GRRRR!

Fuck you Pokerstars

So I decided to get some money on there because I obviously have too much money on UB and I am trying to spread that around. First hand at 10/20, I get AK. This tourney donk pushes for 500 flat after buying in short. he has KT. I lose to his flush. I proceed to get AK 6 more times in the next 50 hands! I missed the flop 4 times and took it down twice preflop, once by going all in preflop. Then of course I get KK and get reraised and get it in and ran into AA and I lose. Not only I run bad and run into terrible coolers on there, people takes about 15-20 secs to make a damn decision, just to fold. I really hate the site and I don't think I have a winning account there. I am probably never playing cash games again there. Maybe I will take down a donkament there.
