Good Week

I have been finally playing good poker. I am not tilting and i got a monitor that can play 4 tables without overlap. I really want to hit 6 figures for 2006. If i continue to play and run good and play a little more , i should be close. Me and julian are going to throw a pretty balla party near christmas time. I want the best alcohol and presidential suite. I really want to do it at top of the hilton in georgetown but that costs like 3000. I dont think i am willing to drop 3000 for a party just yet. So we will probably be getting a place for 1000+. If i hit 6 figures before that, I probably wont be able to stop bragging because i hate all these kids who think i am a degenerate failure

Well I am a huge donkey

So today I got wasted after thanksgiving dinner. We were drunk for a while and we sobered up to go thanksgiving shopping. Of course, me being a huge donkey ended up spending 1000 dollars at compusa and a lot of them on non-discount items. I got a 7.2 mega pixel camera for my sisters. GPS for my car, bluetooth headset to increase my look lol . Whatever. Now my family is off to NYC for the weekend. I am alone with the house. Just maybe I will throw a balla party but we will see.

happy turkey day

so my family is deciding to celebrate this year by making a turkey. Since we are not from the US, we don't really have tradition of making a turkey. Even if we make a turkey, we still cook Burmese side dishes and enjoy them. All my friends are back in town for the thanksgiving break so thats good news and bad news bear , Ross, looks like he is coming back next semester so i probably won't get too bored now. As much as I hate him sometimes, I also need him a lot of the times. Poker wise, i haven't been playing much. I went down to 2/4 and 3/6 and i gained much more confidence. People play so bad. The difference between the good players are huge. The good players at 2/4 and 3/6 are probably average to below average players at 5/10 and above probably and the bad are really bad. Lately i have been getting hit and run on a lot. I absolutely hate it. It always put me on tilt and make me play bad. We play for a while and i was down and the guy flops set against my flush and boat up and leaves 3 hands later. That just doesn't seem ethical at all. I am probably going to stop playing heads up because of that. Last 6 weeks, i am on the biggest break even stretch of my poker career. I am up about 3000-4000 in 30k hands and that is just not good. I probably have to blame 5000 to tilt and bad plays. I really want this gambling bill to go away so super fishes come back and party poker comes back. sigh.

O Poker...

I havent been playing much lately but whenever I play, its a tilt wreck. I usually start of the session very well and get coolered or bad beated and bluff away a lot of money. Last 30k hands, i am probably up 1000 dollars which is really sad. I think i am going to move back down to 2/4 and play a lot of tables. I am thinking playing 8 tables of 2/4 i s probably the same as 2-3 table of 5/10. I am getting a dell 20" so that I can play 8 tables comfortably. I feel like i have a huge edge at 2/4 and i can handle the swings much better. Losing 5 buy in of 2000 feels a lot better than 5 buy in for 5000.

I hate omaha

Its such an annoying game. I just cant win coinflips. i end up always shoving big draws. Its gay. As for holdem, i am up 7 buy in since my 11 buy in downswing so not tooo bad. But yea no more omaha. Whenever i lose at omaha, i just want to play 10/25

Yay for winning day

First step towards recovery. Pick up a nice 3 buy in today at 5/10 and 3/6. It was nice. I am selecting tables fairly well now. UB tables are very very tough most of the times. A lot of the bad players are going broke faster and faster and a lot of them are quitting so poker is not getting easier. Hopefully, i will get some big wins before it becomes too hard.

Rediscovering myself

I have totally lost confidence in my playing. Whenver I have KK, someone has AA. Whenever i have QQ and reraise preflop, someone re-reraise me and i have no confidence and just keep mucking it. I am only down 10 buy in last 2 weeks but it is a tough 10 buy ins. I keep telling myself i am going to go down stakes to get my confidence back but I can never do it. It is very difficult for me but I think I have to do i. My online bankroll is down to a little under 11k. I am going to start multitabling 2/4 to get my bankroll back up and get my confidence. It seems everyone i know is on horrible downswings. It must have something to do with legislations. I dunno. Andrew is on a huge downswin, my friend cello and julian are also on downswings. Even the great empiremaker :-) is on a downswing. who would have thought? sigh. Hopefully things will be better.

downswing and tilt

i hate poker. I am on a 11 buy in downswing. 3 of those was on bad tilt. I tried to play live to slow things down. Get AA vs KK twice. lost both times. go out. spend 600 on xbox and buy every video games that are coming out lol. O well I still need more break. Maybe I need to move back down.
