Little 500 Weekend (Trip Report)

I decided to go down to Indiana for the Little 500 Weekend. It is one of the busiest weekend in IU. A lot of people come up to party for this weekend. I was excited. Since it was Greg's (Kappie123) birthday, we decided to go to a nice sushi bar and get some sushi. We ordered every special sushi they have and finished about 100 pieces between 4 people in about 10 minutes. The apartments my friends were living in were very nice. Unlike all the other college campuses I have been to, this is by far the biggest, nicest and the cleanest one. I even played a session on Greg's duals. Even though it was Wednesday, the bars were busy as ever and there are a lot of cops on the street. We decided to go some bar hoping. I got kicked out of a lot of bars because I don't really have a second form of IDs but i still got accepted at a lot and drank a lot. Later in the night, we decided to go to Taco Bell but only drive through was opened. Since I wasn't on a car, they did not want to serve me. I even offered them 100 dollars for a 10 dollar meal and they wouldn't take it. I was absolutely furious. I just went to sleep angry. On Thursday, I found out that Andrew(muddy) was coming up to IU also. ZOMG. I never met him before. I was ecstatic. We had tickets for 36 mafia that night. It was held at the AEPI backyard. I was pretty impressed they were able to set something like that. Too bad they were only on for 45 minutes early in the night and got shut down for noise violation. WTF? We just went to ZBT afterwards and drink there. It was pretty fun but cops were pretty annoying. We ended up paying a pizza delivery guy money to drive us back to our place. One of the funny thing about the building I was in is there are so many huge degenerates. James would be just playing 500 dollar a hand of 3 card poker and swinging thousands per 5 minutes. There would be people coming over to play blackjack against the house(James). It was funny. 10 people would come in and most of them would walk out empty handed. It must be good to have a reliable income like that in college. LOL. On Friday, we decided to hit up the Killroy sports bar. We went there at 4pm just to chill and get some food and maybe drink. It turned out that the whole bar was absolutely wasted at the time and people were going crazy like it was night time. I heard stories about James' friend Nick for quite a while. It is pretty funny how bad of an alcoholic he is. He has this huge smiles on his face whenever he is drinking. He would just keep ordering straight shots after straight shots and he never stopped. James, Greg, Nick and Greg's friend Sylvia went back to our place and decided to go to DJ Green lantern afterwards. I heard Gaucho called Tay DJ Green Lantern so i was really excited to see him. lol. James and Nick were absolutely wasted and they really have no clue what is going on. Nick disappeared for most of the night and James got thrown out. I still had a blast at the club. This is a first time I have ever been to a big club. So it was fun. I probably threw away 100 dollars trying to "make it rain" in the club. lol. One of the funny scene of the club is a really ugly chick dancing up on a stage. A midget got up on the stage with her and start grinding. LOL. The chick was so ugly that someone started yelling how the midget can do better. Then it finally hits me that James got kicked out. LOL. I was hoping he is not passed out on the street. Thankfully, he was passed out at his room. It was a fun night overall. I didn't really get to sleep well the night because the Jame's roommate had his Indians friends over and smoking hooker for a while. It is actually pretty funny to see super FOB Indian people wasted. We got more sushi again on Saturday. I actually went and met "Redargo" from stars. Not to my surprise, his name is Argo and he has red hair and of course, I finally met the master Andrew Wiggins. He told me he was at a bar very close to me so I decided to go scout him. I don't think I ever found a person quicker than Andrew. Very tall and blond. It was finally nice to meet him. Now all i got to meet his Mr. SBrugby and Tay tay. Overall, it was a really fun trip and I hope to do it again next year probably. I am just kinda upset it cost me too much. I fucked up my flight so I had to change my flight and that costed me 250+ extra. I also spent like 1000 on alcohol and food for 4 days. Sigh. At least I won some money at poker while I was there so it isn't so bad. I am planning to play a lot for the next few months so I can have a better time at Vegas. Ok this is getting too long. I got to board my plane.

Summer is Near

School is almost over. Beautiful summer is just weeks away. I am happy i am finally going to be going to vegas this summer. I reserved a house down there for 2 weeks. The house is really nice and a lot of people are very interested in it. Sadly, I am going to assume financially wise, my house is going to be full of middle limit players. We probably won't be able to go to shintaro everyday but I plan to do my best of ballin out. I plan to really just party and have a good time since I can't play in any of the WSOP tournaments. Also I probably need to start winning money online in order for me to do that. Poker has been horrible for the last few days. I am like winning very small amounts but the beats i am taking are unreal. I really need to stop flopping underfull! I ALWAYS LOSE when i get it in against their trips. Flush draw still seems to be the nuts and I need to start folding KK preflop because they always have AA. After Vegas, I plan to travel around US. It looks like I am tour guiding Sven around US. Gaucho, Samh and I rented a house at the hamptons late july. It should be a nice switch up from Vegas. Here are some of the pictures for the vegas house.

Trip Reports

Well since i am on my way to bustoville and a nasty 50k downswing and people owing me crazy amount of money, I have decided to take a poker break. I have been traveling a lot the past few weeks trying to take breaks from poker but it hasn't been so successful in helping me not play poker but it was fun nevertheless.

St. Louis -

I went to visit my friend zach and brian again washington university in St. Louis two weekends ago. I decided to go attend ZBT 70s party. Since I wasn't really prepared, all i had was a nice pair of aviators and a hat. It was fun but too many people were doing the ye. I just got completely wasted. I decided to ball out and ordered bottle service at the club for 240. I wanted to walk around with a bottle and show off but turned out there were way too many underage people at the club and I wasn't allowed to walk around. I was pretty pissed. By the end of the night, i was completely wasted and lost my sunglasses. Me and my friends took a cab back while all the other drunks waited for bus. Feels good to be able to afford a cab. The thing i really hated about school like Wash U is people are very dependent on their parents. Although there are some of the most delicious restaurants 5 minutes away from campus, people consistently eat school food and complain about being terrible. It just seems like they like to waste parents money. The next two days, we just chilled at played quarters. I got absolutely wrecked the first night because I got stuck between two players. At one point, I had to chuck 8 drinks. yea after that, i just sang britney spears and passed out. I also learned the great game of chinese poker. It is so addicting. Although it looks like there are a lot of skills involving the game, it is basically all luck. It just gives a perception. The only skills i could see is people reading skills. You might be able to tell if the person don't like their back hand and make your hand weaker so you can have better front hand. Yea other than that, it is really a crap shoot. Thats the reason they took it out of the WSOP. Overall the trip was a B.

NYC-

I decided to go up to NY to attend Davids(Gaucho) party. I slept the whole way on the train. I went over to David as we set up the party. Jason(Mkind) showed up later to help set up the party. The atmosphere of the party was very similar to parties back in maryland since ezra(David's roomate) is from the same town as me. Since it was passover, we had potato vodka. Mkind was absolutely smashed after 2 beers and 2 mix drinks. He went around showing his cardplayer article to everyone at the party. He hid in the closet and jumped out at people and broke the closet too. It was quite a hilarious site. The party was very fun. I get to meet very interesting group of people. It was interesting to party with a more mature group of people. No one is out of control doing crazy shits. There were no drugs going on. It was just a chill socializing environment. The next day, I watched David play some cards. It was actually so sick. He couldn't win a pot to save his life. He got cooler about 4-5 times . He lost about 8 out of 10 coin flips and got bad beated a few times. I was sad I had to go home since I wanted to play some of the big live poker. I can't really afford to miss any more classes.
